The Vermont MIDI Project is a private non-profit organization whose mission is to: expand music composition experiences for students; provide online mentoring with professional composers; support live performance opportunities of student compositions; and enhance professional development for educators in music composition and technology.

Sustainability is an ongoing issue with non-profit organizations and we continuously seek funding to support our work. The fees paid by participating schools and independent study students cover only a small portion of the funds necessary for the mentoring, workshops, Opus concerts and other related activities. Contact us to see how you can ensure opportunities continue for students in the future.
